About the Project
The Adolescent Health Strengthening (AHS) project, funded by USAID, will improve the overall health and health seeking behaviors for adolescents through the promotion of Youth Friendly Health Services, community awareness to reduce the number of child marriages and broad capacity building programming focused on the provision of life skills for both married and unmarried adolescents. The project will be implemented through two partner organizations in eight upazilas of two districts—Rangpur and Kurigram.
About the Position
The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist of AHS activity is responsible for implementing the overall monitoring and assessment across the program areas, two districts. The two districts covers 84 locations in eight upazilas.
Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will provide monthly and quarterly information to the program management in order to identify problems and find solutions; discover trends and patterns of program implementation; keep program activities on schedule; and measures progress towards objectives and formulates revised action. He/she needs to communicate interlay with the MER team of Plan for the overall M&E guidance aligned with CSP and the divisional M&E Specialist at Rangpur and Chittagong; externally with the partner M&E focal points. The position holder is responsible for designing the M&E Framework, MIS and GIS for the project implemented through two partners in Rangpur and Kurigram district covering eight upazilas.
Master’s in Statistics or similar area. At least 10 years working experience in any reputed development organization and advantages for those candidates who has experience to work in adolescent health project. Working experience in the USAID funded project will be also an added advantage for this position.
