Program Coordination Manager for BRAC

Position: Program Coordination Manager, Microfinance (AD# BI 04/17)

Job Description/Responsibilities:
Provide daily support and guidance to BRAC International microfinance programme in line with BRAC values, code of conduct and policies.
Coordinate the implementation of new initiatives of BRAC headquarters in Bangladesh to BRAC International countries across Africa and Asia regions.
Facilitate monitoring of financial and operational performance targets in consultation with countries for outreach, portfolio growth and product development
Help prepare and review yearly staff development plan with country and head office management so that local country staff are effectively groomed to become successors to international staff.
Review quality control mechanisms and analyse monthly reports to ensure transparency and safeguard organization’s assets and reputation.
Coordinate with other programmes and contribute in areas where microfinance is involved.
Help to design proposal/operational guideline incorporating microfinance programme.
Facilitate development of operational manuals, guidelines and recommend changes in existing operational practices.

Educational Requirements:
Masters degree in a relevant discipline from any recognised national/international university

Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience in financial sector, particularly in operations or in multiple stakeholders coordination
Prior knowledge of working with manual and policy development

Additional Job Requirements:
Experience in budgeting, financial planning and analysis
Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills with multicultural colleagues
Skilled in diversified people management
Comfortable working in a multicultural environment
Effective communication skills with remotely located counterparts
Self-motivated with strong interest in financial sector
Willing and able to travel to countries across Asia and Africa
