Senior Manager, Advocacy and Communication

Position: Senior Manager, Advocacy and Communication, Integrated Development Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:
Develop communication and media strategy of the programme and be responsible to implement.
Maintain liaison to ensure required support to develop and disseminate of relevant communication materials of the programme.
Produce communication materials which includes brochures, posters, videos, presentations etc. (written or visual).
Develop media relations as per strategy.
Collect and compile success stories of human interest from the project service recipient and arrange to publish in appropriate media.
Develop advocacy tools and methods and organise advocacy events at local, regional and national level.
Contribute to develop and manage a knowledge management systems of the programme.
Maintain the document archive of the programme.

Educational Requirements: Masters in Mass Communications and Journalism / Development Studies/ Social Science/English from any recognised university with all second class / division or equivalent GPA / CGPA in all academic examinations. No 3rd division / class or below CGPA 2.00 is acceptable.

Experience Requirements: Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience at a mid level management position in documentation ,communication and knowledge management .however, experience in working with mass media entities will carry added advantage.

Additional Job Requirements:
Have to knowledge on Computer (Microsoft Office) and MS Publisher, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
Demonstrable experience of publishing high quality reports and articles
Have to understanding on M & E and knowledge management issues
Skilled in graphic designing with creative vision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali
Excel in developing programmes through innovative solutions,systems and process improvements

Age Range: Maximum 40 years
Salary Range: Negotiable
